my shitty art idea in action
"Not all muses can be of the beautiful nymph variety. Sometimes they are frumpy and frizzy. Occasionally there are diagnosable disorders.
It is this niche category of muses that inspired the creations in Boston's Museum of Bad Art (MOBA), a waggish repository for the work of talented artists that have gone awry and exuberant artists barely in control of the brush.
MOBA's permanent collection holds 250 earnest yet ultimately tragi-comic pieces, though for the well being of patrons only 25 are displayed at a time. Rest assured this priceless hoard is in safe hands.
"The preservation of this incompetent body of artwork is our highest priority," reads the MOBA mission statement, except during occasional exhibitions in local car washes.

guy fawkes
"Remember, remember the fifth of November,- gunpowder, treason and plot,
- I see no reason why gunpowder treason
- should ever be forgot.
- Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,
- 'twas his intent
- to blow up the King and the Parliament.
- Three score barrels of powder below,
- Poor old England to overthrow:
- By God's providence he was catch'd
- With a dark lantern and burning match.
- Holloa boys, holloa boys, make the bells ring.
- Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
- Hip hip hoorah!"
vendetta vendetta! - side show bobs son.

here is to the life of barney fife

LOS ANGELES Feb 25, 2006 — Don Knotts, the skinny, lovable nerd who kept generations of television audiences laughing as bumbling Deputy Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show," has died. He was 81.
Knotts died Friday night of pulmonary and respiratory complications at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, said Paul Ward, a spokesman for the cable network TV Land, which airs "The Andy Griffith Show," and another Knotts hit, "Three's Company.
So put a smile on ur face and a single bullet in ur gun, there goes the neighborhood.

like visions blurred
the happy never to look on their regrets.
the dead never look to the living.
the finished story never speaks to his writter.
count many sins, regret many things, look many places, and say many things.
for non of these are u yet.
i tell all bones wrapped in skin that moves.
non of these are u.

well this is just darn neat.

Felice Varini paints (lines, concentric circles, triangles) on things (tunnels, castles, groovy interiors). A seemingly random smattering of elements that, viewed from a specific point in space, coalesce into a tangible planar element.

if a picture paints a thousand words
"puppy love
puppy love
yes she gave all she had
not like a brother or sister more like a mom or a dad
we never asked her never gave her a choice
we just barked out commands
sit stay don't beg
stop licking my hand
those days are gone now
i wish goldie could come out and play
goldie's last day
godlie's last day
if a picture paints a thousand words
there's nothing left to say
i wish you coulda been there for goldies's last day
she was eleven to you and me whats that in dog years
77 thats more than 11 she outlived her peers
the talk around town is that goldie passed away
goldie's last day
godlie's last day
if a picture paints a thousand words
there's nothing left to say" - pfr 'goldies last day'

maybe im tired of this headache.
maybe forced thoughts are the only ones never to be thought.
maybe if my heart could feel my thoughts this would work.
maybe if my hands would move to the beat of my heart i could pay for my sins.
maybe im actually happy, if i only knew it.
maybe this time im doin it right.
maybe this new year i could find some resolution.

"Work ourselves, fingers to the bone
Suck the marrow, drain my soul
Fingers to the bone
Pay your dues, and your debts
Pay your respects, everybody tells you
You pay for what you get
You pay for what you get
Everybody asks me how she's doin'
Has she really lost her mind?
I said, I couldn't tell you
I've lost mine
Words, words, words, have you heard
A bird in hand is much better than,
Any number free to wander
Fly away... Stay
You pay for what you get
You pay for what you get
Everybody asks me how she's doing
Is she really all she says...
Everybody asks me how she's doing
Since she went away
I said I couldn't tell you
I'm OK I'm OK (I'm OK)
Surprise, surprise
You pay for what you get
You pay for what you get
Everybody asks me how she's doing
Has she really lost her...
Everybody asks me how she's doing
Since she went away
I said I couldn't tell you
I'm OK I'm OK I'm OK (How are you?)
Pay for what you get
Pay for what you get...oh...
Pay for what you get
Pay for what you get oh...
Oh...
"
happy holidays.
Salvation Army used real blankets for posters so that homeless people can use them whenever needed.
